Bring your friends and family to campus and join UNC Athletics for the 17th Annual Women's Walk on Saturday, April 5! This event is a critical part of fundraising to support our women's athletics programs. You can register individually or as a cyber walker by clicking the button below. Children under the age of 12 receive complimentary registration.

This year's honorary chair is Rosemary Fri, M.A. '61. She was a true trailblazer for women's athletics and long-time supporter of UNC Athletics. Fri's journey with UNC began in 1959 when she arrived in Greeley to pursue her master's degree at what was then Colorado State College. Her roles while at UNC ranged from starting as a physical education instructor, to coordinator of Women's Athletics, to creating Women's Tennis and Volleyball programs and serving as the head coach for each sport. Her dedication to her players and her passion for education earned her a place in the inaugural class of the UNC Athletics Hall of Fame in 1994. Even after her retirement, Fri remained a steadfast supporter of UNC athletics, attending games and events, and continuing to inspire those around her. Her love for the university and the community was evident in everything she did. Therefore, this year's Women's Walk is in honor of her legendary impact on UNC Athletics. Event Details:
This is approximately a 1.5 mile walk that begins and ends inside Bank of Colorado Arena. The entirety of the walk follows sidewalk pathways around West Campus.
8 a.m. - 9 a.m.: Registration, breakfast, and student-athlete led activity stations inside Bank of Colorado Arena
9 a.m.: Opening announcements and start of the walk
10 a.m.: Closing program and team awards
10:30 a.m.: Stick around to watch Volleyball vs. MSU Denver
